Our dog is crate trained. He loves his crate. He does not get on furniture because he sheds like crazy, but also because we are floor people and spend time stretching and chilling there. He is a very beta dog and could care less about other dogs. He thinks he is a human and loves to lean on people, step on their feet, and dream of human food. However, we do not give him much human food, because Weims are known to have sensitive stomachs. And we have to have good, healthy poops in this house. :) He stays outside in fenced in yard during day while we are at work. He watches birds, chases lizards, and pees on his Mom's plants. If it is raining he can stay inside. His crate door is always open. He eats twice per day. 6 am and 6 pm. He will let you know if it is one minute after 6pm. If we board a pet, will have to make sure they mesh well. We can always keep them separate in different rooms and adjust our dogs routine as needed. He is quite flexible, we are lucky.
