Hi there! My name is Wesley, and I've been taking care of pets for about 2 years now. I'm located in Montara, in between Pacifica and Half Moon Bay, so if you are along the peninsula or simply have a dog that loves the beach, I'm your guy! I'm also willing to drive up to meet you and/or your pet, and I'm available mornings and evenings. I'm very flexible when it comes to scheduling, so don't be afraid to make special requests in regards to when your dog needs looking after. I also have experience taking care of cats and reptiles (mostly snakes and bearded dragons), so let me know if you need extra help with your many-legged extended family. I try to only handle one persons dog/dogs at a time, so I can promise them my full attention. I'm available all day, so hurry up and get in touch before someone else asks! :D

Wesley has taken care of my two dogs, clementine and winston over a period of 4 days while i was away on vacation. I left him a list of responsibilities which included walking and feeding times. I would recommend Wesley to be a dog sitter because he showed responsibility, love, and patience with my dogs. I would definitely trust him to take care of my dogs again.
I have asked Wesley to watch my dog on several occasions, because I knew that he loved animals. He always did a great job and I could rely on him to follow my care instructions carefully and have my dog's best interests in mind. He also kept me updated on how Mochi was doing always, so I had peace of mind knowing she was in good hands. Wesley is a dog lover and an excellent caregiver!
My beagle, Darcy, absolutely loves Wesley! He always gets excited to see him when I have to go out of town for work. He can admittedly be a bit of a handful at times but Wesley is great about playing with him and taking him out for long walks so he doesn't get too crazy. He's even taken Darcy out for a run at the beach with him and tuckered the poor little guy out! As much as I hate to be away from him, I always know that Darcy has a great time with Wesley and it's a big relief to know that he's in such good hands.

I'm not picky about breed or size, but I would want to know whether your dog gets along with other animals or if they'd be better off alone. If at all possible, I'd like to meet with your dog once before I officially start, just to make sure they know who I am. If you have other animals in the house, please let me know even if I'm not taking care of them. I'm willing to be pretty mobile to meet your needs, but if you live a good distance from me or want me to make some sort of trip with your dog, please let me know enough in advance that I can plan/budget around that.
A typical day
I'm a fairly active guy, so if you dog needs more of a run than a walk just let me know. I live near the beach, so I'm open to taking your dog to the ocean for an afternoon of fun in the sun! I grew up around the Bay, so let me know if your dog likes to be walked somewhere specific and I'll see what I can do.
