I love dogs! I have had a dog my entire life and I love watching dogs. I live on a 15 acre pasture and farm. I have a 50'x50' fenced in dog run on the side of my farmhouse and the rest of the 15 acres is fenced in. I would love to watch your dog(s) and give them plenty of space to exercise and play, or if they prefer to be inside they will have their own bedroom/area of the house. I currently have a pug who will stay in a different part of the house unless both dog parties insist on hanging out together. I only watch one dog or existing household dog pack per boarding. We do have chickens and turkeys on the property but your dog(s) will have their own yard to enjoy. I've had a poodle, a blind and deaf pit pull, a pug, and a pit bull mutt throughout my life.

I ran into Wes in the neighborhood while I was walking my dog and it's as if my little lady has a six sense for his kind soul. The two bonded so quickly leaving me with no fear to have him sit her when I am away for work. Every time I take her over to Wes' you see a giddy excitement come over her as we approach his apartment. I couldnt be more thrilled to have such a sweet man care for her in my absense. Thank you Wes!!

No preferences. I have my favorites but I love all dogs. I have cared for senior dogs that require more attention. I’ve also watched puppies and helped with potty training.
A typical day
I use positive reinforcement with the dogs I watch and try my best to understand the dog’s type of obedience. I love playing with dogs outside on the grass so we will spend at least 2-3 hours a day with in the yard. I play fetch with all kinds of dog toys. Depending on the care needed for your dog, I can keep them indoors most of the time, or if it’s nice out i keep the front door open and the dogs can choose to be inside with the AC or outside in the fenced yard. If it is raining I typically keep the dogs indoors and let them out in the fenced yard for the rain breaks of the day.

I full part time from home and your dog(s) will be my top priority. My mornings are typically free to feed the dogs and let them out, then I work 10-noon, and another 3 hours in the afternoon or early evening.
