They provided routine health checks for a menagerie of creatures, including dogs, cats, horses, pigs, ducks, geese, chickens, goats, and cows. Growing up amidst their compassionate work, I was fortunate to witness their dedication and actively partake in the care of many dogs and cats, regardless of their size, age, or individual needs. In addition, my cousin, a senior licensed veterinarian in my hometown, played a pivotal role in fostering my deep-seated love for the well-being of animals. Through countless hours volunteering at his hospital, I further honed my skills in tending to fostered, abandoned, and disabled dogs and cats. From bathing and nail trimming to grooming, brushing, and even expressing anal glands, I immersed myself in providing gentle and patient care. My experiences were enriched by administering daily medications, assisting with immunizations and vaccinations, artificial insemination, offering pet CPR, and assisting in surgical procedures there. Most importantly, let me introduce you to Purple, our exuberant young golden retriever. Purple is a super friendly dog and bonds very closely with us! As a sensitive and clever family member, Purple has never once exhibited a hint of aggression or the inclination to guard in his whole life. His heart brims with uncontainable warmth, enthusiasm, and an insatiable curiosity about the world despite being neutered. New friends, group dog games, high-quality rewards, and positive and safe socialization have enriched his life experience. At a tender three years of age, he effortlessly embodies a demeanor blending harmoniously with his amiable nature and his remarkable ability to forge instant connections with both humans and dogs.
