🙋🏻‍♀️Cornell Vet School Student🐕

Pet care experience

🙋🏻‍♀️I am a vivacious animal lover who will ensure your furry friend enjoys the best care, walks, and day visits! 😃A bit about me😃 My name is Amber (Wenting) and I am a fit and active 24-year-old graduate student at Cornell Vet School. I enjoy travel, yoga, hiking, long walks, reading, and maximizing my time with the four-legged creatures all around us! 🐕My Furry Talents🐈 I have always had a love of animals and they love me! With over years in pet sitting and dog walking experience in Canada, I'm excited to get re-acquainted with the four-legged population of New York! Historically, I have worked with both elderly clients and young families; pups ranging in age before 3 months to grown dogs of 12 years, kittens aged 6 weeks to 14 year-old-cats; and managed up to 3 dogs at a time, 4 cats at once. I have experience in bi-weekly to daily walks, daily feedings and house care, weekend check-ins. 🍀What's working with me like🍀 I am highly organized, responsive, accountable, and respectful of your relationship with your pets. Given my flexible schedule, I can be both a routine walker, whilst also being readily and speedily available on short notice! Based in Ithaca, I can get around easily--keeping your loved one to their usual stomping grounds or exploring new ones around the town. I work closely with my clients to ensure their wishes are upheld when it comes to routines, exercise, diet, and manners--as I believe continuity across "playmates" is crucial. ❇️What do I offer❇️ • Dog walking: - Pick up and drop off at one or two locations for your ease (you choose if you'd like me to let myself in, meet you or a friend, or coordinate with employees) - A feeding included (time-dependent) - Report on dog behavior, how far the dog was walked, over what terrain, and at what pace provided • Pet sitting: - Caring for your animals at your home - Includes following your feeding, sleep, bathroom, exercise, and general routines - Litter box cleaning - Report on your animal(s)' behavior, activities, mood, exercise, diet, and well-being - Administer medication - Send photos and updates of your pets - ensure that your home is secure - Day-time, weekend, week-long, or multi-week pet sitting options in your home

Wenting was our first choice as a house -sitter on Rover for our Shih tzu, during a weekend trip. I must say she immediately made me comfortable using Rover and we are never asking a friend to pet-sit ever again! She is punctual, extremely reliable, very communicative, patient, experienced and responsible. She made sure we receive constant updates on her time spent together with our pup - about her schedule and activities. We couldn’t have asked for better first-ever sitter for our dog on this app ! Exceeds ecxpectations❤️

Wenting has come to drop in on my cat Banjo a few different times and I have always been impressed with her service! She always sends a lot of pictures and lets me know how Banjo's appetite is, whether he was in a cuddly mood, etc. I feel quite confident leaving Banjo in Wenting's care and would highly recommend her.

Wenting was so great with my cat Banjo. She was very diligent in making sure that she had all of the proper information to take care of him, and she was also enthusiastic about playing with and cuddling him and sending lots of updates. I would highly recommend her!
