【Hi there, dog parents. 】 I am doing this for fun. I love dogs, however I can't keep one right now. I will only take care of one dog the most per day (unless you have two), and give your furry friend(s) full attention, take her/him for walks and potty, give her/him food and water, talk and play with her/him, clean her/his eye corners and paws daily (I really do this for concerns of my own health and the dog's). I am quite at home, most of the time reading or working, go to gym every week and love outdoor activates, never yell at pets. I have been sitting dogs from Rover since 2018. Prior to that, I had two year experience taking care of a German Shepherd mix at home in high school. We were very close. He learnt at least 15 commands from me, which made me very proud of him. I hope your furry friend(s) will enjoy the time with me. For the stays, I would expect you to bring dog food, bowls, leaches, and medicine if there is any. Other things such as beds, blankets, toys, treats, etc. would be up to you. I have two large crates, however I don't put dogs there at any time unless I am asked to, e.g. crate training at night for puppies. However, I won't cook dog food, or send photos upon requests which could be a little disturbing to my own work, or FaceTime with dog parents, or give away my personal contact number. There is a lot of extra work behind the scenes, e.g. staying home most of the day to accompany the dog, cleaning dog hair every day, making sure dogs not chew on my belongings, and so on. In the past two years, over $200 worth of damage has been done by dogs, and I never claimed any compensation from anyone. Anyway, TIME IS GOLD. COMMUNICATION AND EMOTIONAL WORK IS ALSO WORK. The regular pick-up time is in the morning, drop-off time in the afternoon or evening, so that two dogs from different families won't meet. It is OK that if you are not able to do so, however occasionally there might be another dog coming just a couple of hours before your furry friend leaves. In that case, I would always communicate to both dog parents and keep two dogs separated, usually one in the bedroom and the other in the sitting room. Please don't mistake it as I would sit two dogs from different families at the same time. 2. If it is Saturday, I might take your furry friend to a nearby dog park for 30-60 minutes. I am home most of the time, sometimes leave home for errands (1-2 hours). You are welcome to drop off your furry friend(s) any time in the afternoon or evening, and pick her/him(them) up in the morning, just let me know ahead so that I could be there for you. I live in a 1 bedroom and 1 sitting room apartment. I will only board one dog at a time (unless two dogs are from the same family). My sitting room is kept empty on purpose, so the dogs will have a relatively large area to stay.
