Fun in the Country!

Pet care experience

Doesn't your pet deserve the best care possible? At my home in the country, your dog will be given the highest level of care and attention. When you leave your dog with me, you can feel at ease, knowing I have over 50 years experience with all manner of animals: cats and dogs of all breeds -- even farm animals. I adore animals of all kinds. I have a 10-acre farm in the country which is like a private off-leash dog park! When you book with me, your pet will stay in my clean, warm and calm home along with my very friendly spayed 7-year-old Boston Terrier. I recently added two 20' x 25' indoor/outdoor heated kennels for large breeds. I am a semi-retired special education teacher, so I am able to offer your dog lots of patience, love and a high level of one-on-one attention. While I'm mostly home during the day, my husband helps with pet care in the evenings and on weekends. My husband also loves animals and he has successfully raised a wide variety of pets and live stock. Neither of us smoke, drink, and we have no children living at home. I have lots of experience with special needs and senior pets. Your dog will be treated like one of the family with time for healthy meals, snacks, playtime, rest periods and socialization with my dog. You'll see how happy your pet is with the frequent text updates, photos and videos of your pet during his stay with me. In addition to the many acres of field for free play, I have recently added a smaller fenced area for dogs that are a flight risk, or need a more confined outside play area. Fun walks along my quiet country road is another treat for guest dogs. Please note, that I provide constant supervision of your pet during outside as well as inside play. Clean fresh well water is always available at multiple locations both inside and outside my home. Separate eating areas are provided, all bowls are washed after each meal and a warm pet bed is provided for each animal. Sleeping arrangements are individualized per owner's request to meet the needs and comfort level of each guest, whether it's on the floor, in a crate or even in the bed. My goal is to make sure each guest dog feels safe, well cared for and happy at all times.

Our dogs were very well cared for at Wendy’s wonderful property. She sent us pictures and videos daily, which I very much appreciated! The dogs had plenty of exercise and were kept warm and safe during the cold weather that passed through. I had peace of mind knowing they were in good company.

Wendy was an amazing sitter for our corgi! Lots of pictures and videos. Our pup didn’t want leave when we came to pick him up. He loved his farm stay with Wendy!
