Pet-less Animal Lover
Pet care experience
I have been an animal lover my whole life. I grew up with a chubby Chihuahua named Pharrell, who currently keeps my parents company back home in the South Bay. He was an especially difficult dog, who didn't like very many people. I was, and still am, the only person he'll listen to, so I'm sure your dog will be a breath of fresh air! I currently volunteer at a cat shelter in Los Angeles. We save feral cats and socialize them into adoptable, loving pets. I am also an experienced cat sitter with no limits on the amount of cats per home I am willing to watch. I have my own vehicle and am available most nights and weekends booked in advance. I am extremely reliable and have pet-sat dogs, puppies, kittens and cats on many occasions. I love to hike and be outdoors and would love to bring your furry friend along with me to enjoy local trails.

This was the third time Wendy has watched our pup Izzy and we could not leave her in better hands. We love the frequent updates and pictures Wendy sends. We appreciate that Wendy is flexible with pickup and dropoff times, and knowing that Izzy is getting such good care means we don't have to worry about her when we're away. We wouldn't hesitate to leave Izzy with Wendy again in the future.

Wendy is hands down the best pet sitter I could ask for. She treated my pup like her own, sent tons of photos of the two of them out and about (my dog needs lots of exercise) and sung her praises the whole stay. I felt so comfortable leaving my baby in her hands! Wendy is an incredibly trustworthy person and genuinely loves caring for animals - what more could you ask for! I’d 10/10 recommend her for any rover needs.
My boyfriend and I were fully transparent regarding my dog’s anxieties and quirks. Wendy expressed no concerns and understood that Lola is a typical chihuahua and that she had experience with many (and grew up with one). I was visiting my family across the country and about 2 or 3 times a day she would message me complaining about my dog and the quirks that we had already discussed. I could not relax without worrying that she would message me again. Then, at 3 am on Christmas morning, she recommended that I call Rover (on Christmas Day) to transfer my dog to someone else when there was only one day left to watch Lola. When I read this, i cried. I didn’t want to have someone I barely know transfer my dog to another stranger without myself meeting them first. The time I tried to spend with my family felt nonexistent because I was constantly worrying. Wendy was very unprofessional and ruined my vacation.
