I have been a part-time pet nanny and house sitter for 27 years and I am the proud parents of 2 rescue dogs. From fur to feathered, finned to scaled, I love all animals! I am a long-time animal rescue volunteer, and through my rescue work and my personal fur kids, I have extensive experience with furry youths, seniors, puppy mill survivors, and dogs with varying special needs. I am comfortable administering medications and feeding animals special diets & providing transport to appointments for your beloved companions. For dogs, I have experience with basic obedience training & I believe in a positive training philosophy. I offer a complimentary "meet and greet" so we can ensure I am a good pet nanny fit for you and your family!

So happy we found Wendy. She was great with meeting Barley and excellent communication. Also, we had to change up Barley’s normal care instructions due to medical issues and she was great about it. We received pup-dates everyday multiple times. I am exceptionally pleased with everything about Barley’s stay.
Wendy and Jim were so loving and welcoming to Skip. I felt that he was well taken care of while I was gone. I would use them again! Wendy went the extra mile to get to know Skip before he came to her house. We had a meet and greet at our house where she observed him in his home setting. It also allowed her to determine if Skip would be a good fit with her pets. She brings a lot of experience working with pets to the table.
Tucker had a blast with the other dogs! He was well cared for! Updates and pictures were given throughout his stay. We are so thankful to have someone love on our baby while we were away! Will definitely recommend!
Wendy was so organized and perfect for Momo. She left a note of every day's summary and was sure to send pictures to let us know how Momo was doing. We just moved here and we're so happy that we've already found the sitter we'll use for every trip we take.

I am well-versed in crate training, although that is not a requirement for pets to stay at the "Downton Abbey for Dogs." In your home, it is important to me to follow your pet's daily routine. I do my utmost to ensure your pet's comfort while you are away. I send frequent updates and am happy to video "chat" with you as well.

A typical day
I have a 1/2 acre privacy fenced in yard and a doggy door that I close at night (or if I am boarding small dogs). I am proficient in fetch, tug, and other fun, interactive games! I can customize a walk to your dog's fitness level and personality.

Availability
I am off from my full-time job in the summer and for two weeks in December/January. During the school year, I am available in the early mornings, late afternoons, and evenings to provide TLC to your pets.
