I have a fantastic job that allows me to work from home, which gives me the ability to care for your pet while you are away without leaving them alone all day! Knowing someone will be with them during the day should be a great relief! I have been a volunteer and foster for many rescues and have helped re-home more than 50 dogs in the past 10 years. I am very familiar with pet behavior and always introduce the dogs one at a time for easier socialization. I am also very cautious with any newcomer and their safety is a priority. Your pup must be socialized with other dogs to enjoy a stay at my house. My almost 20 year old daughter has been a Jr. volunteer at the SPCA and has put in 100s of community service hours volunteering at rescue events, fund raisers and taking care of our foster dogs. When she is home from college, she helps with dog walks and home visits. We are crazy about our pets and love to meet new dogs. We have two residential dogs who are both rescues and very comfortable with the visiting canines due to the many fosters who have been in and out of our care. Lucy, our Great Pyrenees is also a Therapy Dog who visits local hospitals and trauma units occasionally, but she is a pack leader for the house and keeps everyone in line. We also have a cat named Jojo, who stays away from the new comers when needed. At times, there will be a foster dog from one of the rescue groups. Our guests enjoy a GIANT fenced in back yard, private crates (when needed), plush dog beds and dog dishes (if needed) at no additional cost! We also have gated areas throughout the house for those furry friends who need their space and for meal times. We can't wait to meet your furry friends!
