I have had dogs in my home most of my life (except a few years of apartment living). I adopted my 70 lb sweetie (estimated to be 3 y/o and fully intact male staffordshire) from the local shelter a few years ago with many unpleasant behaviors....i.e. Rough play with the kids, furniture/shoe destruction, potty training issues, excessive leash pulling. It is now 3 years later he is my well behaved hiking trail buddy that I can leave loose in the house all day when needed.
