Pet care experience
I have lived with and loved dogs all of my life - from small terriers to mixes, retrievers and giant breeds that were bigger than I am! I've raised dogs from puppies and have adopted adult rescue dogs. I've also worked with shelter and rescue dogs as a volunteer - exercising, socializing and training. We currently live with 2 rescue dogs - an 8 year old Australian Shepherd and a 14 year old Golden Retriever. Our dogs are loved family members, and I can't imagine life without them. I know how important it is to have trusted caregivers for your pets when you can't be with them, and will treat your dogs as if they were my own. I'm mature, reliable and have great communication skills - with both people and dogs! I'm looking forward to meeting your pup and becoming the best of friends!

Wendy is a true pet lover. I’ve known her for 15 + years and she has never gone on a walk where she didn’t stop and chat with every dog and their owner wherever we’ve been. She’s rescued several dogs through the years giving them forever homes with much care and love. I’ve had her take care of my cats when I’ve gone away and they love her as well. She walks through the door and they’re entwining her and demanding her attention.....you know a kind person when cats are drawn to someone immediately. I know anyone who wishes to have their dog cared for by Wendy won’t be disappointed and can leave their pet knowing they will be well cared for.
Wendy is fantastic with dogs! Wendy will treat your dog with love and gentleness. She will give her full attention to your pet and make sure that their needs are met. She will treat them as her own. My dog senses Wendy's love for him and gets so excited when she comes to visit that he runs to present her with his favorite toy. Wendy is responsible, timely and easy to communicate with. Wendy has lots of experience with dogs of all backgrounds, whether from responsible breeders, rescues, or shelters, and she loves them all. She understands them and is sensitive to their moods. She can walk as long as any big and energetic dog wants to go, and she can pamper the less adventurous. I have hired her to take care of my cat many times, and she has always been very reliable and great at staying in touch.
Wendy has had a lifelong love affair with dogs. From memorizing all the breeds and their characteristics as a young girl to working with ASCPA in Pennsylvania. She has always had a dog (or dogs, one is never enough) in her life and many different breeds. She understands dogs and their needs and I wholeheartedly endorse her as a caregiver. Any dog would be lucky to be in her care.
