Pet care experience
My husband and I have had 3 rescue dogs for years, 2 lab mixes and a bulldog. We recently lost our 2 oldest at 12 and 15 years old, and now only have 1 dog, our black lab mix named Lucy. Lucy misses her friends and so do we! We would welcome the opportunity to take care of your baby and would treat him/her like our own. And Lucy would love the company. She's a sweet old girl who loves to sniff around our fenced in back yard and go for walks along the ocean. We have a great location, with a dog door and fenced in back yard so your pup could go in and out as s/he pleases. Lucy loves to lounge on our front and back porches, soaking up the ocean breezes, basking in the sun, and watching the neighborhood. She would love a visiting companion. Your dog will get tons of love and attention, and regular walks too. I'm home all day during the summer.

When I picked up our pup he was giddy with delight and sleepy from so much positive attention and exercise. I'm sure he dreams about visiting Wendy again soon.
Wendy, her husband, and their sweet dog Lucy took excellent care of our one-year-old pup! We are extra grateful since she currently is in a cone with stitches, so she needed an extra close eye on her. They were unfazed by her extra needs (and rambunctious puppy antics!), and are clearly very comfortable and experienced with dogs at all stages of life. Our dog was thrilled with their fenced-in yard, and they sent us a cute photo when she curled up for a nap on their couch. We are so thankful and would highly recommend them!
Wendy and Tony recently provided a week stay for our 14 y/o Peke and 7 y/o Frenchie. We honestly can say that upon first contacts and meet and greet that we knew we had found the right people and home away for our boys. They are true dog lovers and we realized within minutes of 1st meet that our boys found that connection. Wendy maintained periodic updates and pics of the boys daily that put us at ease knowing that the kids were content and getting quality time with walks and play. We would most highly recommend considering this wonderful and sincere couple for your fur babies guest stay! Don & Debbie
