Pet care experience

I've always loved animals...especially dogs. I've handled dogs in AKC confirmation shows, run my own dog rescue and was a member of On Your Bark, the Columbia Flyball Team for years. I've owned pets with special needs and those requiring medical support. Most of my life I've owned big dogs but currently live with 2 Pugs and a Mini Schnauzer mix. I'm responsible, hard working and truly enjoy meeting new people and pups.

Absolutely great! We have had several pet sitters over the years, but Wendy was by far the best! She is incredibly personable and her kindness and attention to detail are awesome. Our dogs were treated great, and she even brought in our trash cans and watered our Christmas tree which wasn't even requested. We will 100% use her again and can't recommend her enough to anyone looking for her services.

There are not enough words to share how amazing and special Wendy is. She provided us with pet sitter services while we were on vacation for a week. She followed all the instructions and cared for and loved our animals like they were her own. We received daily updates and photos letting us know how our dogs were doing. She even gave our outside cat some daily attention when he was around and he loved it. When we arrived at home our dogs were so content, almost like we never left. Thank you so much for the peace of mind while we were on vacation knowing our dogs were safe and happy with Wendy!

Safety, trust & environment

I have a large, secure fenced in yard and 3 small easy going girl pups. Safety is always my top concern. I have a fenced in part of my deck for feeding dogs separately to avoid any squabbles over food.

Information Wendy H. would like to know about your pet

I've owned a dog with a cerebellum disorder which made it difficult to walk. She had to be carried out to potty each day. Currently my oldest dog has a bad back and requires assistance getting up and down stairs. I've given medications many times to even the most difficult patients. And I've administered sub q injections for several pets; insulin for a diabetic dog and allergy meds for a cat.

A typical day

I am a big advocate of exercise and workout daily to include getting my 10,000 steps per day. I would love to include your pups in on my walks. And I'm happy to throw a ball to get energy out.
