Pet care experience
I have taken care of pets as a side job for the past 20 years and had my own pets. I am currently without a dog/pet. My last two dogs were rescue dogs. I have fostered numerous cats and dogs in addition to having my own. I taught at-risk youth for 28 years and have a healing soul and heart. With people and pets.

I enjoy boarding my border collie Rosie with Wendy because I know Rosie girl will have all of Wendy's attention and love. Rosie is always very excited to see Wendy (I also use Rover to retain Wendy as a walker), and that is a wonderful relief. I will have Wendy take care of my Rosie as long as she'll have us.
Wendy was great with my dog! She took her on plenty of walks and to a coffee shop! She also sent me plenty of pictures while I was away. Definitely would book with her again!
I'm always happy to send Rosie girl with Wendy. Rosie loves her, and Wendy takes such good care of her. I enjoy getting pictures during her stay - Wendy is very good about that! And it's always fun to hear about their neighborhood walking adventures!
Wendy was more than wonderful with our dogs! She sent photos and updates, communicated well and was so kind. I know my bigger dog can be a handful and she took it with ease. I will absolutely ask her to watch our pups again and will recommend her!

I live in Shandon (a very safe neighborhood). All of the streets have nice sidewalks to walk a dog and I have a nice backyard. I am fit and workout 4 times a week. I can keep up with high energy dogs.

Please let me know any special needs your dog has especially if they have anxiety or need special instructions for meal times and exercise. Also, if they are freaked out by certain noises. weather, other dogs, certain people, etc.
A typical day
I am very active and love to walk and provide plenty of exercise for the dogs that I sit. I am a highly sensitive to the needs of rescue dogs and those with anxiety. I give great doggie massages and love to play games to stimulate them.

I just retired from the SC public school system after 28 years. My schedule is extremely flexible now. My kids are out of the house and I currently do not have a pet living in my home.
