Pet care experience
I've been pet sitting cats and dogs since 2015 and have cared for many different sizes, breeds, personalities, and special needs. I offer walks, drop-ins, and weekend homestays and provide daily reports and pictures. I'm a very loving, responsible, and thorough sitter and understand that knowing your pet is safe and well taken care of provides immeasurable peace of mind. I'm a member of Pet Sitters International where I have access to learning materials and mentoring from other experienced pet sitters and currently working towards my Pet First Aid certification.

Wendy is the best cat sitter we've had. She communicates professionally and is flexible with key pickup and drop offs. She is reasonable with her pricing, even on holidays. She did drop-ins with our cat for 10 days over Christmas and we never had to worry about him. She sent a note and photos every day which brightened our days when we'd see them. Thanks Wendy!

A typical day
I love getting to know your pets and understand that there isn't one size fits all approach to making sure your pet is safe and happy, whether it's long or short walks, running and playing fetch around the yard or dog park, exploring trails, belly rubs, playing laser tag and chasing pretend mice with your cats.

Availability
I'm currently sitting locally in the herndon/reston/sterling area. I provide drop in visits, walks, and overnight stays. The overnight stays include walks throughout the day as needed and sleep over with your pet. I’ll work with you on the schedule and frequency of walks or drop in during that time period. Generally my overnights include several walks or visits during the day as needed and bedtime and early morning walks.
