Pet care experience
Due to Back surgery I am not able to walk dogs over 40 pounds anymore! A retired RN and also a Grandmother I have loved animals all my life. My second Lab Passed away July 10th 2019, but I would still love to sit my regular customers dogs ! I have had dogs/ pets since I can remember, as my Dad was also a dog lover. I have been walking and taking care of dogs for many, many years. I have a dog friendly cottage with a lawned yard , an open back door, weather permitting, from the kitchen to back yard (and a doggie door when closed) I truly enjoy being around dogs. My Son has three rescue pits who spend time here occasionally and he is a dog lover too! I have a 8 year old grandson and 3 year old granddaughter who come here daily and they are good with dogs and do not try to touch them without my permission. all my regular dogs know them well and just love them.

Wendy takes such wonderful care of my fur baby, Ellie! I’m fairly sure Ellie considers it her home away from home. Wendy takes her on wonderful walks multiple times a day, she even has her own doggie bed to lay in when she’s at Wendy’s house! Wendy sends great updates AND photos throughout the day and is even flexible with time snafus. I only wish I never had to move so that Wendy could help us with Ellie EVERY time. 10 Stars!!!
Wendy is awesome. We've been using Wendy for years as she is super easy to work with (in terms of scheduling, logistics) and my dog loves staying with her.
Wendy-Anne has been taking care of my two dogs for years. She is wonderful and the dogs are spoiled thoroughly.
Wendy is amazing and so caring. Ellie is always so well cared for and comes back home pooped from such an exciting time and so many walks at Wendy’s house!

All my dog owners get daily updates with pictures. My goal is to make sure that any dog that spends time with me will be spoiled with love and kindness and will hear the same commands as they do at home. I keep their routine as much as possible and always walk them twice a day or exercise them as per instructions. My lab is old now and doesn't really play much but is tolerant and has a calming effect on other dogs . NOTE: I will not be able to take dogs that are not leash trained or PULL (Due to a spinal fusion/spinal bone graft ) I have to limit the weight of sitting dogs to 40 pounds .
A typical day
Dogs are free to roam the house and back yard. My lab is very relaxed and 'laid back'. I do have the ability to separate dogs should the need arise. The dogs sleep in the house unless otherwise specified. Dogs who stay here are very rarely left alone and then just for short periods of time.(30min twice a day to p u my grandson) I would venture to say that I spoil them with attention and love. But will always follow the rules of the dog parents.
