Pet care experience
I have been a dog owner/lover since childhood. I am active going to the dogpark, forest preserve and on many leashed walks through the neighborhood with my dogs. I've been on Rover since May 2023 and have also been a dog sitter for my next door neighbors dog Dakota when needed.

Our 7 month old puppy stayed with Wayne for a week. Wayne was organized and quick with communication. The dogs have plenty of outdoor time and play. We appreciated the daily updates and photos. Our pup seemed very happy when we picked him up!
Always a 5 star experience with Wayne and leaving finely with him. She has a great time and loves to play with his dogs and in his yard! He truly loves the dogs and making sure they’re having a good time.

I have a ranch house (no stairs) and a fully fenced in backyard which is escape proof (no gaps or holes). That would be very important to me if I were looking for daycare for my dog. My Beagles are very friendly and will love having company. I have a crate w/blanket inside the house for sleep/nap times as needed. They can play around in the house or maybe just snuggle up on the couch. Plenty of water will be provided as well as any treats or food you may wish to bring. Rest assured, your loved one will be safe, comfortable and well cared for. I would also be very happy coming to your house to walk and/or play with your dogs. My first priority will always be safety just as it is when walking my own dog. Always having a firm grasp on the leash, being mindful of traffic and other dogs and of course always picking up any poop.

A typical day
Your dog will interact and play with me & my Beagles Holly & Fannie both inside the house and in the backyard. I have safe toys and on hot days I have a little pup pool that they can splash around in. I can also take your dog for a leashed walk around the neighborhood which has walking paths and ponds.

Availability
I am recently retired after 37 years in the printing industry, so I am home all day everyday now. I am an active person who is an early morning runner and would like something to help keep me busy during the day. Walking and playing with dogs would be ideal. A true labor of love.
