Pet care experience
I provide coverage IN YOUR HOME. No drop off hassles, etc. We can cover daytime-only hybrid workers or sleepover. I will pamper your pet. During day coverage And I can handle light concierge services for your family. I've raised dogs from 7 week pups as gentle, non-begging family members and successful hunting dogs. With voice and not treats. Cats love me though I'm not allowed to say so around my dog. I do not party, smoke or carouse, nor do I allow pets to. I'm pretty boring. When you come back, it's like I was never there: I bring my own bedding (an REI bag), live nearby so I shower and eat at home, and promise I won't mess up your Netflix/ Amazon algos. I like to walk and adapt to schedules as dogs require. I even walk cats! (See my photos). I've dealt with very energetic dogs, nervous dogs, puppies and old dogs, broken up dog fights, been attacked, helped train owners and their pets, and dealt with pet medical emergencies and death. I know the signs of unusual behavior, and administered both oral and by-shot medicines. I'm comfortable preparing from scratch any special dietary meals.

I know what it is like to come home and find inappropriate content on my Netflix history. That won’t happen. I'm pretty boring, not a snoop, don't post, and respect your most valuable possession. I am an active senior, so like your pets I appreciate a quiet, steady schedule. I am writing the great American screenplay or tying fishing flies. So I will be home (alone) with your pets. For short stays I bring an REI sleep sack and pillow. I've owned and maintained three homes so I know and appreciate the concerns you may have while gone. You can count on me to help maintain your home's necessary routines too. I was an active gardener and know how and when to water.

All dogs are different. It helps if I know as much as I can about YOUR habits, your observations, their history (particularly if they are a rescue). Some pets like to be touched, some don't. Are you trying to instill new habits, break old ones. What sets them off? Doorbells? Fireworks? Strangers? There is no such thing as too much information.
A typical day
Pets are used to having you around all day. The hybrid work shift can be challenging. Ditto vacations. I am willing to come to your home and care pretty much all day while you are gone, providing the lavish attention they prefer. I am an old boring SEO tech worker so I will spend quiet time working. I will respect your privacy. An owner's absence can be upsetting to some pets, particularly after Covid. I prefer to maintain habits which provide comfort as well as exercise. So my typical day will be built around your habits with your pet. I enjoy walks and feel comfortable with some off-leash activities if you are too.
