You pet is one of my furry children

Pet care experience

Experienced Dog Trainer Certify Service Dogs and family with most breeds. I have two dogs of my own who are very well trained and friendly. In the past I have trained and certified dogs for seizure alert, blood sugar detection, mobility, PTSD and just plain behavioral training. I have been working with and owning dogs for 40 years. My Shelty is now in Sedona doing sheep herding and I have had a drug sniffer who passed away last year, two surf dogs and not my Annie who is a golden is going to be trained as a service dog since I have some challenges of my own. I was a volunteer trainer for the S.D Humane Society and for many years have hosted a large holistic pet event in Balboa Park in which they along with 14 other adoption agencies have participated. We even had the wee ones, rabbit and guinea pigs etc. I was also part of the Humane Societies Pet Assisted Therapy Programs and took the dogs out to convalescent homes regularly for three years. My friends say that if they died and came back they would like to come back as my dog. I also have developed a doggie cook book and have a great deal of knowledge about holistic health and nutrition for dogs. About this sitter: I am extremely dependable and love all the animals for which I sit. During your absence I take in the mail and or newspapers so that no one know you are gone, walk your dog around your neighborhood and even take them on outings to the park and Lake Chollas to walk as well as introduce them to my youngest golden retriever if they would like company who loves to play and is totally non agressive as well as highly trained. I pick up after them and keep the yard dog waste free and water plants within the home. Why I love dog sitting I have had dogs my whole life and have professionally worked with them, training, care for etc for the past 40 years. Meet my pets Two dogs, About my yard I do not currently have a back yard but make sure that the dogs get plenty of exercise. Mine actually run on a treadmill that I have in my bedroom.three times a week as well as their regular walks. My experience administering medication Very Comfortable I have even had to give shots before.

I am happy to report how happy I am, and of course my little Louie with the care that he received from Wanda. Louie knows her by name and he is crazy about her. I think she is the person he loves the most after me. She really cares about Louie and I will recommend her to anyone who is looking to have a pet sitter.

have known Wanda for over five years. During this time she has been a loving and caring presence in the life of my dogs. Whytney who has since passed on, was left in Wanda' s caring hands many times. My new dog Sadie is experiencing that same love and care. By love and care, I mean she takes the time to make sure my dog gets the same attention and love that I myself give her. In addition to taking her own two large service dogs on walks, she includes my "little one"! If ever there is a need for medical attention, Wanda has all of the resources at her disposal. I love the feeling that I have when I leave and know that Sadie is well taken care of.

Information Wanda W. would like to know about your pet

I would want to know if he/she had any special needs, gets along with other dogs or needs to be separated from them, how often they are walked, the name and location of their vet as well as a letter to the vet in case of emergency that I have their permission to take them and a copy given to the vet with dates and emergency number, if they are house broken and anything else that the owner thinks I need to know about them. I have one dog that loves her crate and goes there when she wants to be alone and rest, it is never locked. I would also want proof of rabies and if they are up to date on their vaccines. How are they with cats. I would mostly want to know what you think is important about your dog and what your sleeping preferences are, so they had their own bed, do you preferred that they be crated if they are crate trained etc. I want to keep them feeling as stable and normal as possible so I strive to follow your lead on what works for them.

A typical day

Here's where we'll take our walks Around Lake Choyas, Dog Beach---Coronado, around the neighborhood, Kennsington/Talmadge area. It is a lovely area with lots of beautiful homes and huge gazebo in the center as well as a recreation center, parks on Adams Avenue off the 15. I love to take them to Balboa Park to dog park either on Laurel street or Morley Field providing they are dog park dogs. I have one that is not and he does not go, and I have one that is and she loves to go and play with the other dogs. I generally don't like to take dogs that are not mine to the dog park due to the fact that I don't know all the dogs there and I am not willing to take the chance that there might be an agressive dog there with I am caring for someone elses pet. I take every precaution to insure their safety Your dog's sleeping arrangement In my room with me and my two dogs. Like I said your pets are just like my own when they are with me. Time I'll spend with your dog I work from home so I am here most of the time. I walk mine three times a day and would do so with yours as well. I often take them to Lake Choyas and walk around as well as dog beach in the summer in Coronado. I give them all a lot of love and attention as well as some training. Time I'll spend with your dog Most of the day on and off if they are in my home. If I am just walking them and doing general watering etc then at least two hours or more, as negotiated between us. I would be walking them and taking them out with my dogs on little outings.
