I love all dogs; I've never met one I didn't like. I'm not a pet owner; I'm a dog parent. I'm a former tech executive working at home and always available for your dog. I have a secured-access gated apartment with very large patio. I would love to look after your dog (up to 20 pounds) in my home. I'm originally from Ontario, Canada. If I look after your dog, they may return to you understanding a little French. Your dog will get a minimum of five walks a day. I have an abundance of love to give your dog. I come with excellent references. Why I love dog sitting I got my first dog (Daisy, a Beagle mix) when I was nine. It was then that I learned how to speak canine. When we moved to Africa, Daisy asked to go with us. She came. I did not have a pet during my working years in corporate America because of my traveling. (Not fair to the pet.) My recently departed dog, Poggi (a Bichon mix), picked me out and adopted me in 2000. She had a few "rescue issues" when I first got her, but we both trained each other, and she became a calm, playful, trusting girl. With much heartbreak, I had to say goodbye to her on 12/4/14. She lived a long 15 years, giving me joy for 14 1/2 years. Several months later, I was adopted by a new dog, Gidget. My new dog Gidget. Gidget was adopted in March 2015. (She won't tell me her age!) She is about 13 pounds and has a sweet personality compatible with other dogs. I'd love to meet and greet you in advance to address any concerns you may have about your dog getting along with Gidget. About my yard Large private secured patio. Great for chasing a ball or sunbathing if your dog likes to do that. My experience administering medication I am experienced in giving shots, doing subcutaneous fluids with a drip line, and administering oral medications.
