I work from home in Tower Grove South and typically am out of the house from 9 to 10 for exercise, but other than that I stay home and work. I try to take my dogs for a walk around 2pm every weekday around the neighborhood and in the park.

When I am working I try to take breaks every 30 minutes for attention and pets. But of course if a pet is needed in between intervals a wet nose to my hand on the keyboard is always appreciated. Typically we go for walks in the neighborhood and park sometime in the afternoon. We keep a gate in between the kitchen where the food is and where the dogs spend most of their day because one of our dogs is known to get in to the trash can from time to time. There are dog beds strategically placed around the house for napping in any room. Our dogs sleep upstairs in our room on their down dog beds.

A typical day
We love to walk around the neighborhood and into the park. Sniff walks are our favorite and we like to fetch in the backyard. There are a variety of toys in the house as well!

Hey There! My wife and I watch dogs in our home. We have older dogs who are great with other dogs of all ages. We pride ourselves on keeping a clean and comfortable home. Rest assured that our home will be a safe place for your dogs. Our promise to our clients is to make sure that our dogs are kept just as they are at their own home. We provide daily walks up to an hour for our clients that require it (weather depending). We typically feed our dogs 6:30 am and 6pm with treats throughout the day and a dental chew before bed. We require new clients to meet us in public before accepting them on our schedule and we will not have more than 2 outside dogs at a time. We offer dog beds as well as 2 crates if needed

Walter and Maddy were GREAT communicators! We loved getting the photos from the day while we were on vacation. This was also a little bit of a last minute request on our part, so we were very grateful that they were willing to meet with us as quickly as they did to see if the dogs liked each other. Enzo and Tesla are sweeties too. Will definitely request Walter and Maddy again!
Patata had an amazing time staying with Walter for multiple nights! She got along great with their two sweet dogs. I got pictures and updates everyday, which gave me so much peace of mind that she was being well taken care of.
Walter and his wife Maddie took excellent care of our English Bulldog, Rolo. She was nervous at first but soon calmed and settled into their home. Walter continuously sent pics confirming her smooth transition. Walter kept me informed on how she was doing with his older pups as well as sleeping habits. Sorry for all the loud snoring! Highly recommend Walter for anyone’s future puppy visits. I know Rolo will be happy to return to such a loving and caring home.
We have used Walter and Maddie as dogsitters a few times now and they are just the best! Sunny is always so well taken care of, goes on lots of great walks and adventures, and gets plenty of couch cuddles too. Their own dogs are such sweeties and they sometimes have other friendly pups there, which our dog really enjoys. We get tons of updates and they are so communicative - we really couldn’t ask for more!
