Hey There! I'm Walter and I have two 11-year old dogs in my home: one that I’ve cared for since she was 8 weeks old and the other that my wife brought to the relationship and has had since he was 8 months old. We regularly care for friends’ dogs in our home.

Very easy to work with!
Walter was a great host for Charlie over an extended weekend. We got plenty of pics and updates, and Charlie seemed very content. Charlie came home happy and anxiety-free, safe to say he enjoyed his vacation.I would definitely book with Walter again in the future!
Walter is an excellent pet parent and pet care-taker. You can tell he loves animals by the way he talks to them and interacts with them. He's also responsible and trustworthy. He will take great care of your fur baby!
My two dogs absolutely adore Walter. When he watches them, they get just the right amount of play and naps. Since they’re older, it’s important to know when the activity level gets to be too much and Walter is an expert at sensing when they reach their limit (although they might not know it themselves). I’ve never seen their tails wag harder than when he is around. We love Walter!

When I am working I try to take breaks every 30 minutes for attention and pets. But of course if a pet is needed in between intervals a wet nose to my hand on the keyboard is always appreciated. Typically we go for walks in the neighborhood and park sometime in the afternoon. We keep a gate in between the kitchen where the food is and where the dogs spend most of their day because one of our dogs is known to get in to the trash can from time to time. There are dog beds strategically placed around the house for napping in any room. Our dogs sleep upstairs in our room on their down dog beds.

Does your dog display any food aggression? (so we can plan meal times accordingly) Where do you keep your dog when there are no humans in the house? Crate, room with door closed, free range of the house, etc. Any special dietary needs or particularly yummy foods your dog enjoys?
A typical day
We love to walk around the neighborhood and into the park. Sniff walks are our favorite and we like to fetch in the backyard. There are a variety of toys in the house as well!

Availability
I work from home in Tower Grove South and typically am out of the house from 9 to 10 for exercise, but other than that I stay home and work. I try to take my dogs for a walk around 2pm every weekday around the neighborhood and in the park.
