Home Office, Lots of Love, and walks

Pet care experience

Hello, my name is Walter and I vow to be the best friend for your furry companion. I personally have been committed to my pal Ricky Bobby, an 11-year-old tabby, for most of my life, but I was just recently given the ok to start seeing other pets. Other than Ricky I have been lucky enough to care for numerous animals throughout the neighborhood. If you are looking for a person who not only takes care of your pets while you're gone but also a person who keeps their company looks no further. I am constantly looking to meet a new friend that wants to go on a walk, watch Netflix together, play fetch, or just wants belly rubs; I am here for all of it. I vow to make your pet have so much fun they'll always want to come back.

I just want to put this out there so that other pet owners are not subjected to the same poor care that our dog received. I had used Walter’s services in the past and my dog came home seemingly healthy and clean, and Walter is a nice guy so we were pleased. This time around I booked him for a second time for a two night stay for my dog who is blind and deaf. The conditions in which we came to find my dog at the time of pick up were deplorable. My dog smelled so bad I thought I was going to vomit on the way to our house. The apartment in which she stayed in had trash all over the place, doors knocked down, my husband even left some of our dog’s belongings there because he couldn’t find them (nor did we even want to bring any of it home after being in that mess). We came home and immediately put our dog in the bathtub as we could not bear the smell coming from her, a mixture of cigarette/trash/marijuana/ whatever else happened in that apartment. I’m heartbroken my dog had to spend two nights in an environment like this and I want to make other people aware so that they don’t have to go through the same thing. I’m not sure what happened since the last time we used his services but we just had a very different experience this time around and we think he needs a break from taking care of dogs until he gets his apartment and his life situation figured out.

Walter was a pleasure to meet and work with. Our dog, Bruno, jived with him instantly. Walter boarded Bruno for five days while we were out of town. He sent us photos, videos, and message updates several times a day. He took Bruno to an enclosed area where he played with another dog. On top of that, Bruno got to spend his stay with a buddy, Walter's blind and deaf dog. The two got along very well, and we were happy he had plenty of company to keep him happy and entertained. Walter was very flexible with my early AM drop off time, so I could make my flight. He was also very flexible with our late pick up time when my returning flight was delayed. He was incredibly well-mannered, professional, and a clear lover of animals. I would 100% trust Walter with my pets. :)

We needed a last minute sitter and Walter totally came through for us! He was so flexible with us and he loves our Milo so much! He communicated with us well and even sent us a video of him during the day. My only criticism is that Milo smells a little like cigarettes after a wonderful, fun-filled day with Walter, but to see how happy Milo (who has separation anxiety) is to see him at drop-off totally makes up for it!
