Greetings, I'm Jean, and alongside my wife Angela, who works as a full-time accountant, I'm a full-time pharmacist. Our furry companion is a delightful 5-year-old golden retriever named Barkley. With predictable schedules – I'm readily available, and Angela occasionally works from home – we're excited to provide a comfortable and joyful experience for your pet. Both of us thoroughly enjoy hosting dogs, ensuring they become fast friends with Barkley. I relish taking our dogs for outdoor walks/runs, capturing memorable moments with plenty of photos to keep you updated during your pet's stay. Looking forward to meeting your dogs and having a great time together!

They were the BEST! We were so nervous about leaving our dog for the first time, let alone for 5 days. We were also concerned he would have separation anxiety. But Jean and Angela really made us feel beyond at ease. Our dog felt so so comfortable with them ,their dog Barkley and their home during our meet and greet and right then we knew they would be so great to our dog, you can feel the immense love they have for their own dog. And, we were right! As soon as we left him and during our trip they sent us photos and videos every few hours of our dog. Before we can even think about our dog, there was an update of what our dog was up to! Our dog looked and was so happy and comfortable with them ! It made our trip so much better and relaxing knowing he was in the best hands and hearts. We will definitely keep in touch for play dates with Barkley and future boarding! Thank you!

Such a great experience! We had Jean watch our boy, Chip while we explored NYC. He was quick to respond, communicated clearly, and sent so many pictures and videos of Chip that we truly enjoyed our stay knowing he was in good hands. Will definitely book again if in the area, and 10/10 recommend to anyone going to NYC/NJ.

Our backyard is enclosed, making it convenient for multiple restroom breaks and playtime. In the summertime, I also allow dogs to enjoy extended outdoor periods in the backyard.

We prefer dog breeds that harmonize with our Barkley. Ideally, dogs should be neutered or ready to engage in friendly play with Barkley. We're open to arranging a preliminary meeting if certain breeds require a warm-up period.
A typical day
I take pleasure in exploring the nearby mountains and parks with my dog, and there's a dog park in the vicinity too. Occasionally, I'd be delighted to bring the dogs to a nearby lake for a refreshing swim, especially during the summertime.
