Pet care experience
We love dogs and have had dogs as part of our family from childhood, thru raising children to now as empty nesters. We have fostered dogs for several years and have experience caring for dogs of many breeds. Sonic, our current dog, is an important part of our family. We walk him twice a day in our neighborhood. We also watch our grown kids' dogs, when needed.

Twyla had another wonderful stay with Vonnie. We were happy to know she was in good hands while we were on vacation. We truly appreciate it. Got lots of photo updates and plan to have Twyla stay again next time we go away. :)
Vonnie and Kevin are the best. They sent us pictures and updates regularly, asked questions if we didn’t provide all of the care information, took our greyhounds on daily walks and definitely gave them love which made us so comfortable and able to enjoy our vacation with no worries. Someone is with the dogs at all times. This is the second time both have cared for our girls and would definitely recommend Vonnie and Kevin ! We are grateful to have met such awesome caring people!
Vonnie & Kevin saved my trip. I had a friend watching my house and dog, when she had a family emergency and had to leave. I was in a panic, 2800 miles away with no one watching my girl. I called them and they were willing to take her. What a relief it was to me, to have people who have taken good care of before watch her.

We have a fenced backyard and a dog to be a companion with your furry family member. If requested, we can crate your dog to make him/her feel safe and secure at the times needed. We also have a pet door that is open to our fenced backyard. At night, we close the pet door for their safety.

We would like to know the particular routines or things that your dog likes to do that we could encourage your dog to do while with us. We also need to know if your dog bites. We sometimes watch our grandchildren, 6 and under, and so we want to make sure your dog gets along with small children.
A typical day
Go on walks. Play ball and chase. Play with our dog. Play in the backyard in wooded area. Depending upon weather we could go to a park close by.

Availability
We are home all day with being retired and teleworking from home. We care for our dog by feeding him twice a day, walking him twice a day, and playing ball with him at times throughout the day. We are flexible to adjust our daily routine to meet the needs of your dog's interests and needs for good health and exercise.
