I am a mom of two boys (one two-legged and one four-legged). I grew up with a dog, and our family has fostered dogs for the past 10 years. Our dog, Pocky, joined our family in 2017, and we raised him from 8 weeks old. I have a pretty flexible schedule with availability at all times of the day and night. I am continually expanding my experience with dogs and am excited to have more opportunities through Rover. Every dog has a unique personality, and I love to get to know each one!

Viv has fostered various dogs for Barksoflove.org from small easy mixes up to a lab we did cataract surgery on his only good eye and she has done really well following my leads (I'm the dog wrangler/behaviorist at BOL) and learned how to assist the caratact recovery dog to associate what he could see with what he previously knew by smell and sound, people in particular. Very smart, compassionate and capable and plays tennis so very physically fit too.

I have no breed or size preference. Every dog is unique, and I don't feel that the breed defines them. I am athletic, so I feel that I can handle a larger dog.
A typical day
Pocky cannot do strenuous walks, but with more active dogs, I like to go hiking. I have fostered all types of dogs, so I like to play fetch with the retriever types or tug-of-war with others. I play tennis so I have plenty of balls available for play.
