Pet care experience
I’ve always loved animals, and find caring for them to be so rewarding and fun! While I’m new-ish to Rover, I’m definitely not new to pet sitting and pet care. I grew up with pets, have fostered a number of dogs and cats in the past, and have experience working with animal rescues (Hopalong in Oakland, CA, and Muttville in SF). I also have experience with puppies and kittens, as well as senior dogs and cats, and adjust my approach based on your pet’s needs and personality!

Vivian took amazing care of my young puppy Hurin! He was always very excited to see her in the mornings! Vivian did a great job with keeping him interacting with other dogs before he finished his vaccines, and made sure to give him plenty of exercise and play every day.
Vivian was an amazing sitter for my dog Roxy! She was patient, kind, and extremely communicative during the stay. Vivian not only took her to the park and dog run, but played with Roxy and I could see the progression of how my dog was able to be more and more comfortable. I appreciated her approach to taking care of her - thoroughly and carefully! I wouldn't hesitate to book her again for my next trip

I will of course follow all pet care instructions you leave for me, and adjust care based on your pet’s needs and personality. I can provide plenty of play time and walks for energetic pups, or just provide head scratches and a comforting presence for more shy or low energy dogs.

A typical day
I love playing with dogs, either stimulating them mentally with dog toys at home (owner to provide) or keeping them active on walks. I work from home so I love having dogs around since we’ll be keeping each other company!

Availability
My schedule is very flexible as I work remotely from home. There are some days I choose to go into the office so I request to schedule something with me at least 2 days in advance so I can plan accordingly.
