Could really use some puppy love!!
Pet care experience
I have lived with Dachshunds my whole life and I’m missing my baby from home. Throughout high-school and currently, I have cared for family friends’ cats and dogs (both at my own home and their’s). I have experience with potty training dogs and helping them learn basic tricks (sitting, stay, paw..). While dog and cat sitting, I was expected to walk, feed(1-2/day), bathe, and take them for potty breaks (ranging from every 2-4 hours). Also, I know some people have trouble with clipping their nails (dogs) which I have no problem doing!!

Vivian was wonderful with our two stubborn Frenchies. She provided updates and made us feel comfortable with leaving them in her care for an extended period of time. Would definitely request her to watch after our dogs again.
Vivian kept both of my dogs company. She was available when I needed and I came home to some healthy and happy pups.
Vivian was great!
Vivian was my former roommate and has been one of my best friends for the past 2 years. She has always showed my dog, Gatsby, the outmost love and affection. I think it says a lot about her how she was always willing take him outside when I had to work, cuddle him when he had anxiety, and let him bark his heart out. He’s a high maintenance dog and she always helped out without me ever having to ask. She never complained once this whole year. Vivian is extremely kind, nurturing, and would take amazing care of your animals. She is a diligent worker, an honest caregiver, and is one of the few people I would whole heartedly trust with Gatsby.

My roommate owns 2 cats and they are as spoiled as they can be. They are fed once a day (along with treats) and are free to roam. When my mom’s or friends’ dog(s) visit, it is the same. I’ve only ever caged a dog when they were younger before bed and when I leave the house (usually because of the owner’s say). Dogs are taken out every 2-4 hours usually. It just depends on their size or if they let me know they need out sooner. My apartment has an unfenced yard right outside and also has a dog park that is fenced in. When taking care of larger dogs, I usually go for a walk on the sidewalk or go to a large dog park, but I can obviously make accommodations for each individual animal.

A typical day
Most of the dogs I have cared for recently have been older so we mostly lay around together or go outside and wonder around. With more active dogs in the past, we have gone straight to the dog park. I think a tired dog is a happy dog. With this, every dog has his or her own special needs so any accommodation can be made. With cats, we usually just hang out and I make sure they get all the lovin’ they need for the day.

Availability
I work Thursday (4:30), Friday(4:30),and Saturday nights (3:30). Those days I usually work until about 11pm. The rest of the week, though, I am available!! I work from home and have a 45 minute class at 11 everyday. Sunday through Thursday, I am available the entirety of the day (except for my class).
