My name is Vivian and I have over 18 years of experience caring for cats and small animals (hamsters, etc.) both personally and professionally. I've raised over 20 guinea pigs and 4 cats! I also have lots of experience with special needs pets, as I've raised pets with FIV, diabetes, neuropathy/neurological disorders, blindness, and pregnancy... and provided sitting services/care for pets with an even wider range of special needs. I especially love caring for senior pets who need some TLC :) I can administer oral medications and injections. I treat every pet I care for like my own (because who doesn't want to own all of the cats in the world?!) My approach to pet care is patience and understanding. I take things slow with pets and build their trust from the ground up.

So happy with Vivian and Rover. It’s tough to leave our cats for a few days, but it’s a huge comfort knowing they’re getting some company. Vivian left great and funny descriptions of their time, sent photos, and even got our shy cat to come out. Definitely would recommend Vivian to anyone needing someone to look after their furry friends :)
Vivian cared for my two cats this past weekend on very short notice. She was great! Very responsive and sent pictures during each visit. I truly felt that my cats were being well taken care of and it was a weight off my shoulders not to be worrying about them during my vacation. I would highly recommend her!
We left our cat, Ben Franklin, in Vivian's care for five days and we were not worried at all. Receiving the check-in notifications, the adorable pictures, and little notes from Vivian gave us so much peace of mind while we traveled. Ben can be a bit grumpy around strangers, but he warmed right up to her. I would highly highly recommend Vivian's services, and we will absolutely rebook her any time we need to leave the house.
Vivian was the absolute best! I could not recommend her highly enough. She sent detailed updates and spent actual time connecting with Toot and Zig. I had every confidence that they were well looked after and that they did not feel alone. I have stress leaving my animals anytime I go away, and I can honestly say for the first time, I did not worry once. She was extremely communicative and went above and beyond. I could not have been happier!

PETS I CAN CARE FOR: - Cats - Guinea pigs (I can also groom your longhair piggies free of cost, e.g. Peruvians, silkies, texels, etc!) - Hamsters - Gerbils - Chinchillas - Rats/mice - Rabbits I also love working with senior pets or pets with medical needs!

Please note: I care exclusively for cats and small animals. I am a mental health therapist by day, so I treat my pet clients just like I treat my human clients - with respect and autonomy. I let your pet lead in terms of what they want to do or feel comfortable with doing. If a pet needs rest, I'm happy to give them space. If they want to play, bring on the laser pointers and dangly toys!
