Pet care experience
I have always loved dogs of all sizes. I have also had dogs since I was 5 years old. Beginning with a miniature Schnauzer, to a blue heeler, and a pit-bull chihuahua mix. I now have 1 dog living with me and she is a 1 year old black lab. She is full of energy and very playful. I have a lot of experience watching dogs for family and friends, and they have always been very happy with the care I provided. I am a 22 year old student at UT. I am available all day on Saturdays and Sundays, and on Mondays I have class from 10:00-11:00 am, and from 2:00-5:00 pm. On Tuesdays and Thursdays I will be in class from 9:30 am-12:30 pm. On Wednesdays and Fridays I only have class from 10:00-11:00 am. If I am watching your dog this will be the only time I am away from my apartment and unable to take them outside or care for them. I live with my boyfriend, and if I am unavailable he will likely be here and will take your dog outside if needed.

Did a great job with Ruby! Sent sweet pictures and was very flexible with us. It was so sweet to see her taking Ruby out and about. Ruby had a great time, and we greatly appreciated all of Virginia's effort!
I always worry about leaving my dog with a kennel and I thought I would try out Rover. I felt good about leaving my dog with Virginia because I could tell should was going to welcome my dog into her home. . She was a very calm and confident person and my dog took to her right away. Her love for animals was apparent. I would not hesitate to ask Virginia to watch my dog in the future.

I have no breed preferences. My only preference is that the dog be very social, my lab is very playful and will want to play a lot. We have had bad experiences in the past with non-social dogs being mean to our lab and she still thinks they want to play with her. I would just like to avoid any bad situations. She can also be put in her crate if your dog gets tired of her, we just don't like to leave her in the crate all day.
A typical day
I live a quarter of a mile from the Greenway in South Knoxville, I go for a 3 mile run on this greenway almost every morning and would be happy to take your dog if he or she enjoys going on runs. My boyfriend and I also frequently go on walks on this greenway, and sometimes we walk to nearby IJAMS, where we can hike. If your dog enjoys hiking and long walks I can happily take them along!
