Pet care experience
I’m a firm believer that loving and encouraging dogs in their good behavior is the best way to care for pups of all ages and sizes! Coming from a dog-loving family, caring for and loving on your furry pals would be a privilege (and may help my missing my family dog, Mowgli, just a little easier)! I currently have a cat named Frank (pictured in my cover photo) & will happily take care of cats as well! If your dogs are extremely cat-aggressive, I will probably have hints of Frank/Frank’s hair on me — just a warning! But I will never bring him with me or over to your house. I’ve had plenty of practice with typical dog care and would love to help you on your day to day needs (walks/runs/feeding/bathroom breaks) or dog sitting on your weekends away! I’m happy to learn the specific needs of your pet and I have plenty of experience convincing dogs (and cats!) to take their meds. I love walking and will do whatever I can to keep your high-energy dog entertained and your older dog exercised and comfortable!

Virginia is the best! She loves animals very very much. Her schedule is fairly flexible and she's always willing to serve you. Having had pets her whole life, she knows dogs very well and loves to help them get exercise. She's extremely responsible, caregiving, and loving to anything and anyone who crosses her path!
Virginia is one of the most responsible & caring people I know. She has been a pet owner for many years, and I think her attention to detail and intentionality has created such a great environment for her pets. She is incredibly loving and in tune with the needs of others- and I think these qualities more than qualify her as an exceptional care taker for your dog!
Virginia has been an exemplary cat owner and dependable person for as long as I've known her. She has dutifully taken care of her cat, Frank, and given great instruction when I've taken care of Frank. Virginia was also an extraordinary academic student at the University of Alabama, only possible by meeting all of her commitments and stepping up into leadership roles in campus organizations. All this is to say - Virginia is highly dependable, has a strong work ethic, is great with animals, and would be a perfect candidate to care for anyone's loved pets.
Virginia has been so great with all of our pets! We have had 3 dogs and 5 cats over the time we have known her and all of them have loved her. She is attentive to their needs and willing to follow whatever instructions are necessary for their care. So wish she still lived in our town - she would be our first pick every time we need Rover.com
