I'm passionate about animals, grew up with dogs with have over 20 years of caring and raising my own dogs. I was raised in a farming family and was taught caring for animals requires: 1) Respect, 2) Love, 3) Exercise, 4) A steady routine. My Golden Mix, Wyatt, 3 1/2 is very gentle, friendly and loves to play. He's also great with small, elderly or dogs with health problems. One reason I signed up for Rover is to bring some playmates into Wyatt's life. I also have a cat, male, 6 years old. He keeps to himself. I work from home Mon., Wed. Fri. and the weekends. Tuesdays and Thursdays I am in the office, however I come home at lunch to walk Wyatt. My office is 15 minutes max from home. There is a dog park 50 feet from my home and several trails for doggie hikes in my neighborhood. I have large, bright sunny apartment to run and play in between visits to the dog park and hikes along the trails. I also have a deck that dogs love to relax on. My community is very dog friendly and I am in a great location between Raleigh and Cary.
