I've loved all kinds of animals since I was a little girl and began my animal career mucking horse stalls in exchange for riding lessons when I was a teenager. From there I've worked at boarding kennels, grooming salons, wildlife rehab, museum aquariums, and veterinary clinics and hospitals, including MSPCA in Springfield where I worked as a specialty technician in ophthalmology and dermatology, and as emergency and surgery technician. I also enjoy all reptiles. Right now I am retired from vet teching, but I still sit for my friends' pets and I live with my dog, Cupcake, who is a Schnauzer/pitbull cross. I have pet/house sat for several clients over the past several years from little kitties to three large boxers from the same household. I am comfortable giving all kinds of medications, including eye drops, subQ and IM injections, subQ fluids and have worked extensively with elderly dogs and cats as well as ones with special needs. I have the time to give full attention to your little guys, I wish to make this work full-time, so please, spread the word :) I also run trails and love 4-legged company.
