I have looked after pets for my entire life. I am also certified with the BC SPCA. There is nothing I like more that getting to know a family pet. I have just lost my dog and I am heartbroken and would love to care for your pet.

Virginia stayed with my sweet old boy when we had to go out if town last year. She kept him happy and safe, followed his routine, and provided lots of updates, which was greatly appreciated for our senior dog. I was so grateful to know our old man had such a caring person at home with him!

Virginia is attentive and consistent with the 2 dogs she is currently connected to through her family. Virginia has been a loving pet owner for the majority of her life. She has always provided a safe and healthy environment in which her pet has excelled in every way. She has a love for the outdoors, as much as her pet has, which has lead to a life of adventure and excerise. She has a calmness about her, that has allowed anyone/pet to feel welcome immediately. I love playing games with my dogs, such as hide and seek or hide the ball. I like playing frisbee. I’d let my new found friend guide me around the neighbourhood.

Availability
I am retired and very flexible. Even though I live in Summerland, I have no qualms about traveling great distances if I would be caring for your pet for an extended period of time. I am used to rising early and taking care of my dog, before she died, and then including her in my activities for the rest of the day.
