Hiya! I graduated May 2020 from Wellesley College with a degree in English. I love caring for the people in my life - especially the ones with fur and four legs. I take so much joy in spending time with pets. (Still can't believe I get paid to do it!!!) I have experience caring for older dogs and cats as well as puppies and kittens. I spend a lot of time taking walks and remain socially distanced and quarantine-conscious. In college, I volunteered with Off the Rocks Animal Rescue caring for rescued kittens. I also edited for the campus newspaper and competed on the Wellesley-MIT Ballrom Dance Team! My favorite activities include reading and writing poetry. With my experience and enthusiasm in mind, know that I am the ideal babysitter for your pet. I will give them tons of affection and make sure they stay safe and happy! I take the pandemic very seriously and bring necessary sanitizing supplies with me every time I leave the house. Not only is your dog's health important to me - but your family's is, too! It is my priority your dog gets the best care possible, and I am more than happy to center them during my stay! For the pet's comfort, I introduce myself slowly and make sure they feel safe with me. Building trust is my priority, and spending quality time with your pet (feeding them treats, taking short and long walks, playing games) is everything. I love lap dogs, but if your pup is a little shy I will give them their needed space! For humans' comfort, I stay in communication and provide updates with photos as frequently or infrequently as requested. I am COVID conscious and willing to adopt additional precautions depending on your preferences. Side note -- I do enjoy talking to dogs like they are humans, sometimes in other languages. By the end of my stay, your dog may know how to speak a little Spanish!
