I have always been an animal lover. My first ”job” was volunteering at a pet store where I fed, bathed, walked and took general care of all the dogs. After that I volunteered at the local animal shelter where my family has fostered several dogs from, and where we ended up adopting one of our dogs from. We have fostered all kinds of dogs including special needs and previously abused dogs. I have two dogs, both are very loved rescues. I just recently found out about Rover, but have pet sitting experience prior. Attention is my biggest priority when pet sitting. I do not use cages unless it is at the request of the owner. I had a 15 year old dachshund so I have experience with older dogs and administering medicine to them.
