Pet care experience
I have been the biggest dog lover my whole life. I've had experience taking care of dogs since I was 9 years old when my family got a chihuahua from the shelter –– she passed away last year at 16 years old and I miss her so much. My boyfriend and I adopted a stray Chiweenie named Linus in 2021, and we have been working very hard on his training ever since. Besides having a dog of my own, I have also had experience caring for those belonginging to neighbors, friends, and family. I have experience with senior care, administering medication, bathing pets, and working with dogs who have behavioral issues. My dog Linus can be a little wary of humans (especially men), but absolutely adores other dogs. He is only 9 pounds, but he is very sturdy and loves playing with dogs of all sizes. He is also great at adjusting the way he plays based on the needs/actions of other dogs.

Violet is not only a great friend, but also a wonderful dog mom. When I first met her I admired the relationship she had with her family’s rescue dog, Bianca. Violet took careful care of Bianca as she aged, paying attention to how Bianca’s needs changed as she lost her vision and her hearing. Violet has since adopted Linus, an adorable pup with whom she has bonded closely. I myself have a dog named Cosmo who was born deaf. On numerous occasions, Violet has helped me to take care of him. Given Cosmo’s special needs I’m often hesitant to trust other people to take care of my dog. However, I never feel worried when Cosmo is with Violet and I would recommend her to anyone looking for help taking care of their furry friend.
I have known Violet for over two years now and one things I know for sure is that she loves animals, especially dogs. Violet is incredibly caring and patient when it comes to taking care of her own dog and the dogs of other people. Dogs (big and small) are naturally drawn to Violet and always feel comfortable in her presence.

A typical day
Linus and I love going on adventures. As I mentioned before, my apartment is pretty small so we get out to explore as much as possible. We also love to play with toys and run around in enclosed areas!

Availability
I work from home so I will be able to give your dog a lot of attention and exercise. I live in a small studio apartment, so I already go out very often to give Linus the activity and movement he needs. I am open to taking your dog to the park, going on hikes, and exercising them as much as they may need!
