We (Amanda and Vinny) both grew up with pets and have watched dogs for friends and family for years. We love meeting and caring for new dogs and can provide a loving, attentive environment while you’re away from your pup! We do have experience administering medication to dogs. We both work full time, but he works from home while she is away from 7am - 4pm as a teacher. We’ve always had ample time to take our own dog for walks, take out for bathroom breaks and have some fun around the house. Giving your dog plenty of attention throughout their stay is always our priority. We live within walking distance from the Farmington River Trail where we go with our dog regularly. Monkey is a four-year-old basenji/corgi mix who is incredibly docile. We’ve never once had issues with Monkey around other dogs and she loves playing with both small and large friends! Our yard is currently unfenced but we have plans to add a fence before winter. We take monkey out 4-5 times per day for bathroom breaks and just to get some fresh air. Monkey sleeps in our king size bed every night and have no problem allowing your pup to do the same. If they prefer not to, we have plenty of room for their provided crate in our home.
