treat dogs as humans
Pet care experience
My top priority is to make sure any pet is cared for. I believe that a pet should be treated like humans, with respect and kindness. It saddens me to see dogs or any type of animal being mistreated. That is why I have plans in having a no-kill shelter in the near future. At the moment, I'm the owner of a facebook group called, "HOMP Downey." Where members and myself help reunite pets with their owners or help pets find a loveable home. To be honest, i have never taken care of someone's else pet. I would like to experience more in taking responsibly of someone's pet. I can tell you that taking care of your pet won't be like a job to me, but more of two friends hanging out and walking. Hope to someday be able to take care of your pet. Currently, I'm free on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.
Reviews
Vin was a very professional and understanding dog walker. I needed to change my booking last minute and he was very accommodating. My dog, Pearl, was extremely happy after Vin walked him. Highly recommend.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety, trust, and a comfortable environment are my top priorities when caring for pets, whether it's in my own home or a client's. In my home: I maintain a clean, pet-friendly environment with secure boundaries to ensure the safety of any pets I host. This includes pet-proofing common areas and keeping harmful substances out of reach. I have a designated space for pets to play and relax, complete with comfortable bedding and toys. I follow any specific feeding and medication schedules provided by the pet owner diligently. In the client's home: I respect the trust placed in me when entering a client's home. I prioritize the pet's familiar surroundings and routines. I'm vigilant about security, ensuring doors and gates are properly closed and locked when entering or leaving. I maintain open and transparent communication with the client, providing regular updates on their pet's well-being and activities. In both scenarios, I focus on building a strong bond with the pet through positive interactions, playtime, and lots of affection. Trust is essential, so I follow any specific instructions regarding the pet's care and respect their individual needs. Ultimately, my goal is to create a safe, comfortable, and trustworthy environment where pets can thrive and feel at ease.

I often choose scenic routes in the neighborhood or nearby parks to keep the dogs stimulated. 2. **Playtime**: Back home, we engage in interactive play sessions, which could include fetch, tug-of-war, or puzzle toys to keep their minds active. Night: 9. **Bedtime Routine**: Before bedtime, there's a final walk to help them empty their bladders, and then we settle in for the night. Dogs sleep in a cozy, designated area, either in their own beds or with me, depending on their preferences. As for special places for walks, I like to explore various dog-friendly locations like nature reserves, dog parks, and pet-friendly beaches.
