I have years of experience taking care of a wide variety of animals including dogs, cats, birds, turtles and fish. I gained this experience by working as a pet sitter for the past 15 years, volunteering with the humane society as well as having a wide variety of pets of my own. I even have experience taking care of wild and exotic animals by working and volunteering at wildlife rehabilitation centers and the Naples Zoo. Overall, big or small, old or young, high energy or relaxed, I will provide exceptional care to your pet. As an avid outdoors woman, I know tons of great pet-friendly trails and parks where (if desired) I can take your dog for an adventure. During our meet-and-greet, I ask an in-depth questionnaire that helps me understand both you and your pets. This provides me with knowledge of your pet's background, personality, schedule, joys and fears. I also like to provide daily updates and photos. Your pet is my first priority! I endeavor to make their time with me as relaxed and enjoyable as possible so that you can focus on you.

I don't have any breed preferences but I love to know about their personalities and medical histories. If you can provide any of the following information before agreeing to pet-sit, it would be appreciated: -prior injuries or medical procedures -triggers or anything else that may upset or frighten your dog -favorite things you do together, games, treats or toys -age -allergies There might be some beyond this, and any information that you feel is necessary to know is always welcome. I also insist on meeting with you and your dog before the official date of the job to ensure compatibility.
A typical day
I love taking dogs on walks anywhere and everywhere, whether that be beaches, forests, dog parks, or hip downtown shops. Of course, it all depends on the dog. Since the weather in Washington is often a bit wet, I am equally happy playing games inside or just chilling on the couch. Whether they are the type that likes to sit on your lap all day or enjoys adventures in the car, I am happy to indulge.

I am available every day of the week to spend time with your four-legged family members! When not house-sitting, I am available after 11am and before 10pm for walks and drop-ins.
