I am a certified veterinary technician with experience with dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, and pocket pets. I have worked in a busy practice, and currently work overnights in a diagnostic lab. I have room to house reptiles in my home, however it is usually easier to keep them at the owners home. I am comfortable giving medication, including giving insulin to diabetic pets. I am familiar with many chronic diseases which require daily medication, such as hypothyroidism and cancer. My home is limited in the amount of dogs it can house at a time, as I do not have a fenced yard. I have 2 dogs at home, Maya and Buddha. I have a senior kitty who has diabetes, and a younger male cat as well. I am also comfortable with taking care of chickens, as I have some myself!
