New to Rover, but not new to pet sitting!! I am available immediately and can care for your beloved dog or cat! I have a car, so commuting is not an issue. I have eight recent years of experience caring for a boxer/border collie/german shepherd mix (Peanut) who has separation anxiety. Being patient, loving, and affirming of Peanut helped soothe her anxiety. Peanut also had a lot of energy, so multiple walks and playing fetch were vital for her daily activities. Along with Peanut, I cared for a loving Keeshond (Mila) sometimes together or separately! Mila required consistent brushing, and I was sure to meet her grooming needs. She is a sweet girl who preferred to be indoors because of her luxurious, fluffy double coat! I also looked after a beautiful and independent Siamese/tabby mix (Kiki) while her owner was away on vacation! Though she was independent, she had a detailed guideline of care, which I respectfully followed. And most recently, I took care of a vivacious American shorthair cat (Kitty). Initially, Kitty was quite reserved, but with patience and distance, she became more comfortable, and her spunky personality came out! She had a fixed routine and preferences that I honored.
