This is our second time booking with Vida and it was a great experience! We were able to enjoy a fun day out knowing that Vida was going to stop by and take good care of our pup and cat!

Vida is amazing! This is my first time as an adult having a pet and my first time leaving him alone while I was away. I was so nervous about leaving him alone. Vida made sure I was informed of everything that happened with him. She took every bit of worry away. 5 Stars. If you are looking for someone to watch your pet while you are away I highly recommend Vida! I booked her again for my next trip!

Safety, trust & environment

Following their regular daily routine will ensure the furry family member will feel safe and trust me. I always keep the water bowl full and the pets happy and healthy. Consistency is key. For cat owners, please note the following: Understanding the Stress of Injection Medications for Pets Administering medication to pets, particularly through injections, can be a challenging task. Just like humans, pets may feel stressed and anxious about the process, and this stress can intensify when the person giving the injections is a stranger. It's important for pet owners to recognize and address these concerns to ensure a smoother experience for both the pet and the caregiver. 1. Unfamiliarity Leads to Anxiety: Pets thrive on routine and familiarity. Introducing a new person into their medical routine, especially when it involves injections, can trigger anxiety. The unfamiliar scent, touch, and presence of a stranger can make the pet uneasy, leading to defensive behaviors such as hissing, bearing fangs, or clawing. 2. Building Trust Takes Time: Establishing trust between a pet and a caregiver is a gradual process. It's essential for pet parents to invest time in building a positive relationship with their pets, especially when medication administration is involved. Spending quality time, offering treats, and using positive reinforcement can help create a bond of trust. 3. Recognizing Signs of Stress: Pets communicate their discomfort through body language. Hissing, baring teeth, and clawing are signs of stress and fear. Instead of blaming the caregiver, pet owners should focus on understanding these signals and finding ways to alleviate the pet's anxiety. 4. Patience and Empathy are Key: Administering injections can be stressful for both pets and caregivers. Patience and empathy play a crucial role in making the experience more manageable. Pet owners should work collaboratively with caregivers, offering support and understanding throughout the process. 5. Seeking Professional Guidance: If the pet consistently exhibits extreme stress during medication administration, it may be beneficial to consult with a veterinarian or a professional pet behaviorist. They can provide valuable insights and recommend strategies to make the process less stressful for both the pet and the caregiver. Recognizing the stress associated with injection medications for pets is crucial for creating a positive and comfortable environment. By understanding and addressing these concerns, pet owners can play a significant role in ensuring their pets receive the necessary care with minimal stress.

Information Vidalina J. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know in advance if your pet needs, challenges, allergies, aggression, likes and dislikes, etc. That way, I have a better understanding of their preferences and any specific instructions for each dog and/or cat.

A typical day

I will always prioritize the safety and comfort of the dogs, consider their individual temperaments, energy levels, and any health issues when planning activities. Some fun activities include, nature walks, fetch & play, obstacle courses, interactive toys, water activities, tug-of-war, quiet strolls, grooming time. Since the weather here is incredibly hot, I will make sure they are well hydrated before, during, and after our walks.
