Reliable Pet sitter 10+ years
Pet care experience
Hello, My name is Victory and I have 10 plus years of animal ownership and handling experience. From working with little rats to caring for full grown dressage horses I've had plenty of practice loving on and caring for animals of all sizes, shapes, and temperaments. My care performed includes feeding, walking, playing with animals, as well as other care like clipping nails, giving baths, giving oral medication, and following strict routines for young and very elderly pets. I have worked with all sorts of leash and collar variations including slip leads and harnesses, and I am familiar with canine body language and behavior and can handle even the most obstinent pup. In 2018 I forayed into the world of human medicine for a time, and I received my CNA I license and CPR certification before deciding that animals are more peaceful and rewarding to work with. I am also familiar with and work comfortably around farm and outdoor animals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and insects. I have reliable transportation and do not mind providing drop-off or taxi services for your animals.
Reviews
Victory is awesome! We have her come let out and play with our needy German Shepherd a few times a week. He loves her and gets the zoomies every visit. She is attentive, caring, thoughtful, trustworthy, and gives great detail about letting us know how our dog is doing after her visits. She has really helped ease my worries about leaving our dog home alone while we’re at work. It’s obvious she loves animals and has great experience taking care of them. Our dog can’t wait to have her come back and play! Thank you, Victory!
Our 2nd time booking Victory was just as reassuring as the 1st. Quality work and caring. We'll book her again in the future. You should too.
Victory did an amazing job watching our bunny, who is a senior lady and needs a bit more care now. We were out of town for two weeks and Victory made me at ease with her attentive reports and photos. And our bunny seemed to really like her! Highly recommend!
Victory was fantastic. Very attentive and communicated with us constantly. We had a difficult situation and she really helped us out. We are completely grateful for her care and diligence with are several cats.

For me the key with working with animals is trust and control. I make sure to take time to get to know each furry client that I am working with and to establish a routine that will make each pet feel comfortable around me and able to best thrive while their parent is away!
Information Victory J. would like to know about your pet
I am a small and gentle person and not all big dogs respect me immediately, however that does not mean that I will not spend as much time as possible getting to know each client and hearing from each pet parent about what rules and boundaries they would like enforced with their pets while I am in their home. I make it a rule never to hit an animal even for training or correction, so if this is your training method then I may not be the pet sitter for you. Repetition and positive reinforcement with treats, a positive tone, and lots of pets are how I show the animal that I can be trusted to be kind, firm, and consistent.
A typical day
I love learning new games and activities with your pup or kitty. Long walks are always fun, as is playing with toys or just cuddling for some belly rubs and scratches. I am an introvert so I am usually quiet when I'm staying at your home, but I always make sure to break up the monotony with some one on one playtime and exercise to keep mind and body sharp!

Availability
Just because my schedule says I am unavailable, doesn't necessarily mean I'm completely unavailable! I am currently working part time with a varied schedule, so even if I mark certain days off of my calendar, just shoot me a message and we may be able to work something out!
