Pet care experience
I've worked in rescue care and pet sitting for over 7 years. Animals are my passion and first love. I am able to provide injections and am comfortable giving medications. I have 4 years experience working in an animal clinic in addition to my shelter/rescue work and love to snuggle all pets. Respect for the pet is key to building a good relationship with them and I believe that keeping their routine and positive reinforcements help minimize their stress while their favorite person is away! I do know cpr, it was taught during my time at the animal clinic, but I am not certified.
Reviews
Victoria did a great job. Love the photos. Good communication. Will definitely use her again.
Victoria took excellent care of my two furry friends for a drop in visit! Highly recommend her.
Victoria did a very good job with our senior, special-needs German Shepherd. She was great at keeping in touch and responding very quickly, arrived on time, and handled everything very well. We will definitely use her again.
Victoria took exceptional care of our three big dogs. We will definitely book her again!

Our home has 1 cat and 2 dogs, and they have their own room with wall to wall windows and built in window seats. We have one medical needs cat that requires a special diet and monitoring. Foster kittens that come through our home also have their own room, specially designed for kittens.
Information Victoria T. would like to know about your pet
Any fears, especially in relation to going outside for walks. What are their recall commands? Do they have specific commands or words for certain behaviors to help keep training consistent? Allergies, or protein restrictions? Do they do well on a leash, or is a harness required? How do they do with other dogs while being walked?
A typical day
I love playing fetch or Frisbee with dogs if they are very active, for less active dogs, tug o war is always a good go to! Dogs that require more mental stimulation seem to really enjoy "hide the treat" and puzzle games. For morning walks, a near by coffee shop is a must! For evening walks, if there is a play area or park near by, I'd love to take them there to get some energy out so that they sleep through the night!

I work in the vet and shelter field, so pet care is something I do 7 days a week. It's important to me that animals of all shapes and sizes get the best possible care to live full lives. I have a cat of my own and live with two high energy dogs. It's important to me that all pets I look after receive the same high level of care my own pets get.
