I have worked with dogs all shapes, sizes, ages, ability, and energy levels! I have experience with over 5 dogs with pretty severe anxiety, and even fostered a dog found on the streets of Puerto Rico that had extreme anxiety to people, and separation anxiety. She was with us for around 6 months, and by the time she left she was a completely different dog, she was still unsure, but she wouldn’t run and hide when anyone entered a room. When doing introductions I like to toss/hand them treats, do not look directly into their eyes, and allow them to approach and sniff me. I also have experience in the past living with two dogs with epilepsy. They require oral pill medication, and liquid medication, so I have experience in both of those fields as well. I also have an extremely high energy husky mix, so I am used to giving dogs the exercise they need! I have experience with dog training as well. I am an apprentice dog trainer, and have trained a service dog in the past. I know basic training, some fear training/exposure, and leash training so a dog is not pulling.
