Vic, trusty and reliable vet student

Pet care experience

I was raised in a farm in the north of brazil, so lots of experience with pets, from dogs, to cats, horses and even cows! After doing my first year of Uni, I volunteered to work at a vets to gather experience. Since then I've moved to the Uk and have been pet sitting / dog walking , as work as well as a hobbie. The farm and vet have been great, and though its showed me animals can be challenging at times, as long as we communicate gently and respectful, we can give them quality care and well being, Its the most rewarding job ever :)

Our pup Winnie wasn’t well so Victoria didn’t get to take him on a walk this time but she did get to meet him and have a little play even though he was sick. She was great with him and we will definitely ask her and Caio to do some house sitting and walks for us on other times. Thanks!

Victoria was fantastic and we really recommend her. Our two big dogs clearly love spending time with her and she sent us lots of lovely photos and videos of what they were getting up to! She was very communicative throughout and we came home to a lovely clean house too!

Victoria and Caio took great care of our staffie in our home while we were away. We got lots of lovely photos and updates every day. It was reassuring to know she was getting lots of cuddles while we were away, and as she is an old dog it was good for her just to continue her routine at home. Would not hesitate to recommend! Many thanks.

Safety, trust & environment

I am always very careful when meeting a new dog, Its important to read it well and see how it responds to me. When entering someone's house, I try and be even more respectful not only to the pet, that is in its personal space and environment, but also to the owners that are allowing me to come into their home. I know pets have their own specific routines, likes and dislikes, again I try to stick to what was set by the owner and is best for the animal.

Information Victoria P. would like to know about your pet

I like to know as much as possible about your dogs / cats! Mainly their dietary options (treats / no treats), if they're okay with other pets, what they are like during walks and etc and all the dos and don'ts.

A typical day

I'm still fairly new to the Uk, and love exploring Brighton, having a pet companion to join on walks as I visit local parks would be very welcomed!

I've recently moved to the UK with my partner and want to work in the field I am studying. Animals are my biggest passion, and I'm allocating a lot of my time for this.
