I graduation from OSU Pre-Vet med and have I love animals far more than I love people. I had a pit bull, Tank, who required around the clock medical care. From the time he was 3 weeks old as a rescue, until the day I let him cross over his rainbow bridge, he fully depended on me for his medical needs. I now have 2 more rescues, Emma Claire (Great Pyrenees/coonhound) and Bacon (pitbull/lab) who may not require the medical needs that Tank did, but they sure do require lots of play time due to their playful nature. I’m able to give shots, medications (oral,topical, eye/ ear drops), baths (medicated treatments or just to keep them smelling good), and dressing any wounds if need be.
