There’s just nothing better than getting to see the smile on a dog’s face when they have all the love they need to thrive! That’s why being a dog sitter really is a dream come true for me. I believe that dogs provide so much to our lives, so getting to give back to them and my community all at once really is an incredible experience. I’ve been an animal lover all my life, so getting to take care of so many wonderful, different dogs is just amazing! On top of being a dog lover, I also have lots of professional experience with taking care of animals. I completed the veterinary assistant program at PIMA Medical Institute, and have volunteered at the Gaines Street Humane Society. I’ve worked in the animal care field for over a year now and haven’t looked back since! I just love taking care of animals. I was also fortunate enough to be able to volunteer at the San Diego Humane Society, and I got to work with dogs of many different backgrounds, from dog fighting to strays. I also got to volunteer at PAWS at their kitten nursery, where I got to help with newborn kittens to nearly ready to be adopted kittens. I was also there for the huge chinchilla farm rescue, and help recover chinchillas from surgery. I have a lot experience dealing with animals in very delicate situations, whether it be physical or emotional. That means that your dog will be in good hands with me no matter what. I am currently a stay at home mom to a 16 month old boy, and have full availability. Since I’ll be home all day, I’m a good fit for dogs that are used to having a human presence around them. I’m happy to look after pups of all stripes! I live close to a park, so we would go on plenty walks to the park whenever we felt like it. I have a big back yard with plenty of space to play as well if we just want to stay local. I have a good amount of space downstairs and dogs are allowed on the couches for after-play-cuddles!

About a year ago our usual dog sitter had to move, during our search for a new sitter we found Victoria. Our initial meet and greet went great and though I was apprehensive about leaving my girls with a new person it turned out to be a perfect fit with us. We now leave Ellie with her when our family needs to travel and feel comfortable with her being at victorias home.
Victoria is a real professional dog sitter. Her meet and greet technic is great. She does care for dogs. I would had loved that my dog would had behaved better with her family. My dog has hearding genes/ inherited habits and needs time to feel comfortable specially with people. So I was only able to do one night trial. Maybe 3 small children was too much for my socially awkward pup. But other than that Victoria is great. I would recommend her 100%.
Our pup was very well taken care of, he had loads of fun playing with Victoria’s dogs and kiddos. He’s very played out upon pick up, which is great for our playful boy. Victoria made us feel so comfortable leaving him for 2 weeks, we’ll definitely book again.
We've boarded our pup Victoria a few times, as usual she is awesome and provides a great environment, including her own friendly dog as a playmate. Highly recommend!

What’s the best way to spoil your pup?
A typical day
I love staying active with my Husky, Elvis, so we’ll make physical activity a big part of our time together. There are plenty of places to head to nearby, so we’ll never be in short supply for a good time! There’s a great park right across the street from my house, which means that we’ll be able to head there whenever we see fit. I’m also happy to head to any local dog parks as well if we’re feeling the need to socialize. I love watching pups make friends! I can also meet your dog at their energy level, no matter what it is. I’m a big fan of cuddles, so I’ll be happy to curl up on the couch and watch a movie together as well!
