Reliable & Conscientious Pet Sitter

Pet care experience

Hi there! My name is Victoria and I am a lifelong animal lover offering pet care services in Anchorage. I grew up with all sorts of critters, so I’m comfortable around dogs of all sizes, cats, reptiles, amphibians, fish, rodents, rabbits, and other small animals. I understand that our pets are our family, and the safety, security, and well-being of your pet(s) is my number one priority. I promise to care for your family members as if they were my own, maintain open and clear communication, and work hard to ensure you have a stress-free, positive experience. I take on a limited number of clients at a time to ensure that I can consistently provide exceptional care. *HOUSESITTING* When providing housesitting services, I live and sleep at your home for the duration of the booking, unless you request otherwise. During the week, I work from 6:30am to 2:30pm, however, outside of work I strive to spend the majority of my time with your pets. Midday drop-ins for housesitting clients may be available upon request for an additional $5-$10 per weekday depending on location. Please let me know if midday drop-ins will be required in your initial request. *DROP-IN VISITS* Drop-in visits are offered at 30- and 60-minute intervals. Drop-ins include feeding, watering, potty breaks, playtime, medication administration, and cleaning litter boxes. With each drop-in, you will receive a Rover Card with an update on your pet and photo. I am also happy to bring in mail or water plants upon request. *DOG WALKING* Dog walking services are offered at 30- and 60-minute intervals. Walks will take place in your neighborhood and are always private. If you have any training goals you're currently working towards, I'm happy to work with your dog towards these goals. Please provide a secure, well-fitting harness or collar for each dog. I have my own high quality leashes that I generally prefer to use, but I'm flexible depending on your preferences and needs. *POLICIES* - In alignment with Rover's terms of service, I ask that all clients disclose the use of cameras or recording devices inside their home at the time of the booking. - I do not accept housesitting bookings where other individuals such as roommates or family members will be living in the home during the stay. If you expect visitors or workers to enter the home during the booking, please notify me in advance. - The safety of your pets is my number one priority, so large dogs that pull or have reactivity may need to be walked individually. - I do not take dogs to off-leash dog parks for safety reasons. I am more than happy to make alternative arrangements to ensure your dog gets the exercise they need. - I respect your right to privacy and discretion. I will never invite guests (animal or human) into client's homes, nor will I share photos or details about your home with outside parties.

Victoria is awesome! She stayed at our house with our two dogs while we were gone for a week. One of our dogs is leary of strangers but Victoria worked with him and they were good friends by the time we returned. She updated us with great photos everyday. She made sure that they got walks and plenty exercise in the yard. We won’t hesitate to use Victoria whenever we need a dog/house sitter.

Safety, trust & environment

*MY PROMISE* Allowing someone into your home to look after your furry (or scaly... or feathered...) family members takes a lot of trust. As such, I take my responsibility as a pet sitter very seriously. I am dedicated to providing a stress-free experience for my clients before, during, and after each booking. From ensuring the privacy and safety of your pets and home to bringing in the mail, I will do what it takes to create a seamless, positive experience.

Information Victoria N. would like to know about your pet

Tell me about your pet’s personality! Are they a couch potato or an athlete? A social butterfly or a nervous nelly? Do they like to cuddle or prefer to be left alone? Does your pet have any habits I should know about? Do they like to steal things off the counter or chew shoes when they’re nervous? Are they an expert escape artist? Do they love tug of war or live for walkies? Any info you can give me about their habits and quirks helps! What sort of routine is your pet used to? When do they eat or go outside? I will work to maintain the same schedule for them while they are in my care. What is your pet’s medical history? Do they take any medications or have any allergies? Are they prone to certain behaviors or medical issues when they get anxious, such as eating the furniture or an upset tummy?

A typical day

I love to go on walks, play fetch, or just snuggle up. My biggest goal is to mirror your dog's day-to-day routine as much as possible in order to cut down on the stress of their family being away.
